New Life Meditated “Neither Do I Condemn You”

On February 21, New Life Community Church held a graceful Sunday service.

The minister preached the message entitled, 'Neither Do I Condemn You' from John 8:1-11.

"The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery and they asked Jesus what to do with the real intention to accuse Him. Jesus said, 'if any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.' Everyone went out after hearing this. Everyone is a sinner and has no qualifications to condemn others. The one who is holy and blameless can condemn us. However, He said, 'Neither do I condemn you.' Jesus came to the world to bring the new law: the law of love and forgiveness. In the world of the law, if you commit sin, you will be condemned, but Jesus brought the gospel to us. If you commit sin, you can be forgiven. Why? Jesus paid the cost for us on the cross and has the power to cleanse sins. Jesus continued to say, 'God now and leave your life of sin!' We can't take advantage of God's love but live a new life, offering ourselves to be instruments of righteousness."

After the service, they had a grateful table fellowship. Member Jafre shared, "I am thankful that Jesus doesn't condemn me. Before, I was so afraid of coming to Him after I commit sin, but now I have more confidence to come to Him to pray for forgiveness. He will forgive me. Besides, Jesus asked us to live a new life. Don't commit sin again but follow His Word to live a new life."

Chris shared, "I am thankful for Jesus' forgiveness. I have committed too many sins. Only His blood can wash our sins."

Jamaine shared, "Satan may accuse us, 'oh, you commit sin; you are bad.' Satan wants us to stop coming to the Lord or to church. But we need to believe in Jesus' love. He will forgive our sins."

Thanks be to God! Please God continues to guide the growth of members!
